It is with great regret
that we must inform members of the death of our founder member Len
Grant aged 88. He was still attending rehearsals until a couple of
months ago.
Len died on Saturday 22nd August and will be greatly missed by
all members of the society. His funeral took place on Wednesday 2nd
September at 12 noon in St Columba's Church North Shields. A large
number of society members past and present were able to sing at the
funeral.
The occasion was a wonderful tribute to Len.
