Tynemouth Amateur Operatic Society has some fantastic
news about the show they will be presenting next year.
You will no doubt have read in the local press that work
on The Playhouse at Whitley Bay is soon to be completed, and we plan
to return to the beautifully refurbished theatre in the spring of
2010.
By then it will be three years since we last performed on
that stage, when we presented the outstanding TITANIC
THE
MUSICAL.
As soon as TAOS knew definitely
that a return to The Playhouse was imminent they set about choosing
a show that would be really spectacular for their first production
in the new theatre, and were delighted to learn that from 2010
The Disney
Musical
BEAUTY
AND THE BEAST
will
be available to amateur societies for a limited period
only
